My name is Summer Shown and I am an interior designer and the owner of Inside the Design.  

 

I specialize in creating beautiful and functional living spaces that evoke joy and inspire their owners to spend more time in their homes with each other, as well as with friends and family, hosting all who enter with pride and love.  My goal is for my clients to be proud of their homes, feeling comfortable and free of stress in the spaces that I design for them so that their favorite getaway is actually their own home.
 

Life is crazy busy and not everyone has the time to focus solely on designing a space in their home with all the other responsibilities and obligations that our busy lives include. While it may not be in the cards to carve out time to design their home on their own, clients still crave for it to be completed. If this sounds like you, that’s something I can remove from your overflowing plate.

 

I have a certification in interior design and have been designing spaces for over 14 years. I moved back to my hometown, Greer, SC, a few years ago after living in Charleston, SC for 14 years. The Upstate is a beautiful, ever-changing place to live and I am proud to be a resident of it once again.
